Can I set recurring reminder calls?
Short answer: Yes — daily, selected weekdays, weekly, monthly or yearly. Set the schedule once and ReminderCall keeps calling without you maintaining the system.
Yes — recurring schedules are the whole point of setting it once. ReminderCall supports:
- Daily — the 8am medication call, the 10pm "lock the front door".
- Selected weekdays — a 6:15 wake-up call Monday–Friday, but never on weekends.
- Weekly / monthly — the Sunday-evening bins reminder, the 1st-of-month rent transfer.
- Yearly — birthdays and anniversaries, called in ahead of the day.
Each schedule keeps its own message, so the Tuesday call can say something different from the Friday one. Edit or pause any schedule without touching the others.
Why this matters more for calls than for ordinary reminders: the people who most need reminder calls — ADHD brains, busy caregivers, anyone juggling a parent's medication schedule alongside their own life — are exactly the people for whom maintaining the reminder system is the hardest part. A recurring call is a system that runs without being maintained.
